Installation:

macOS:

Option 1 — PKG Installer (Recommended)

Double-click the .pkg file

macOS will block it — click "Done"

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security

Find "Hindsight-v1.0.0-macOS.pkg was blocked" and click "Open Anyway"

In the popup click "Open Anyway" again

Follow the installer

Option 2 — DMG (Manual):

Double-click the .dmg file to open

Copy Hindsight.vst3 to: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/

Copy Hindsight.component to: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

Why macOS shows a security warning:

This plugin is made by an independent developer and isn't signed with a paid Apple certificate. The plugin is completely safe — it doesn't even have internet access. It just records audio locally in your DAW.

Windows:

Option 1 — EXE Installer (Recommended):

Run Hindsight-v1.0.0-Windows-Setup.exe

Follow the installation wizard

Restart your DAW and rescan plugins

Option 2 — ZIP (Manual):

Extract Hindsight.vst3 folder from the ZIP

Copy to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

Restart your DAW and rescan plugins
